With rooms under 2000 baht Hemmingway's has to be one of the best value for money ladyboy friendly hotels in Patong. It's location is decent, the facilities are smart and practical, and the rooms are extremely comfortable and homely.



Location wise its about 2 blocks from Bangla and the main nightlife area (about 5-7 minute walk) and a further block to the beach (10 minuet walk).



Facilities and highlights:

There's an OK pool and Bamboo, the hotel's restaurant, gets some pretty good reviews. There's also a nice lounge and pub, which is perfect for those nights when you want to have some time off form the Bangla madness and catch up on the sports from back home.


We don't have the official ladyboy guest policy but it is well known to be a guest friendly hotel.

Patong hotels can get pretty expensive, especially if you are looking for something modern or fancy, but if you're will to walk an extra 5 minutes from the action you'll find the Arimana, a very clean and cool hotel, with extremely friendly staff, large cosy rooms, and an impressive pool.



Location wise the Arimana is not as far out as it looks on the map, with Patong being rather compact. soi Bangla, soi Paradise and Jungceylon are all a 10 minute walk, and the beach is just another 5 minutes on top of that.


Facilities and highlights;

Unfortunately there is no gym, but the hotel does have a lovely pool as well as a seperate kids pool and hot tub, great for escaping those humid Phuket days.

If you're on a budget and looking for a clean and classy room, close to the Patgong nightlife and ladyboy action, then the Apsara is a great hotel for you. It's hard to believe these classy and classic Thai styles teak rooms start under 1500, and the staff are incredibly friendly towards ladyboys and gays.



Location wise, you're right at the heart of the action, you can be at Cocktails and Dreams or Soi croc within 3 minutes of walking out of your hotel, with the beach a short 5 minute walk away.



Facilities and highlights:

With such a great location, such nice rooms, and totally affordable prices, the only downside is that there are no real facilities to write home about. However, being seconds away from so many ladyboys and some of teh best beaches in Thailand, you won't be wanting to hang around the hotel anyway.

Apsara Residence is guest friendly, this mean that when you book a room for 2 persons, your visitor is always welcome FREE OF CHARGE.

Do you allow ladyboys to enter the hotel rooms?
We are located near Bangla Road and Paradise Complex, this mean that we are absolutely Ladyboy and Gay friendly. We are open for everyone’s sexual orientation.

Do you allow more than one guest to the room at the same time?
We are not really into allowing several visitors at your room and during HIGH/PEAK season we will totally forbidden this. High/Peak season only 1 guest allowed to join you FREE of CHARGE. The reason for this is we have also families and couples visiting Apsara Residence and if we allow 2-3 visitors in the room we got complaints about the noise next door...

If you interested in visiting Apsara Residence during Low Season and you would like to bring (MAX) 2 visitors at the same time to your room discuss this first with me. Sometimes we have chinese guests preferring to stay with 3 in the same room. Normally there's an extra charge of 500 baht for an extra visitor but if you stay for a while we can discuss this first.

Do your rooms have bum hose?

Every room at Apsara Residence has the toilet guns at the bathroom. So this is also confirmed.

Set on the lively soi Sansabai this is a very trendy and rather artsy hotel, with lots of uniquely designed room and imaginative decor. Though the rooms are usually priced around 3000 baht per night, there are often deals to be found here, and it's quite possible to get a room for under 1500 if you are lucky - making it excellent value for money any time of year.



Location wise you're on a great soi with lots of bars and restaurants, and a 3 minute walk to the wild nights of Bangla Road. The beach is also within a 5-10 minute walk.



Facilities and highlights:

The Acca is all about the unique rooms and not much by way of facilities, though the hotels does have a nice restaurant which serves seafood and Thai dishes.
